What is a Newmee ?
|
A Newmee is more than just a wig. It's above all a beauty accessory for the woman who wants to have fun changing her look freely whenever she wants to. It's fun, it's easy and it's inexpensive. The Newmee is a quality wig made from synthetic fiber which resembles very closely natural hair. This fiber possesses properties making it ideal for use in wigs, its colour doesn't fade and it retains its shape even after washing. The caps are standard and fit head sizes from 52cm to 60cm. The Newmees are our creations, inspired by our own tastes and modern trends. Newmee is a registered trademark.

How do I order ?
|
Simply click on the Newmee of your choice and it will be put into your shopping basket. You can check the contents of your basket at any time. Once you're satisfied with your choices you just need to give us some information about yourself and choose a payment method. All information given by you will remain strictly confidential. A bill will then be presented to you and after your validation and payment you will receive an e-mail to confirm you order.

How do I choose the colour that suits me ?
|
Our photographs have been taken with great care to portray as accurately as possible the colours of our wigs. Use them to find the colour you want. After that....... it's your choice. Either you go for a colour that closely matches your own to stay on familiar ground, or you take the plunge and go for something completely different. If you are not sure, contact us !

How do I follow my order ?

You can consult all your orders, past and present, by going to the "My account" page of our site at any time. Furthermore, once your new order has been processed by us, which will be done without delay, you will be given a tracking number. (For customers in France only)

Why become a member ?
|
Because it's easy, it's free and there are lots of advantages to being a member.
1. 1) To start with as a welcome gift you will be given 40 bonus points immediately and without making a purchase. Thereafter each euro you spend (excluding postage) will earn you one point. Once you have earned 300 points they will be used to obtain reductions on your future purchases.
2. When you buy your first Newmee we will give a wig cap free of charge.
3. For any purchase of wigs in excess of € 120 you will receive a wig stand as an extra gift, and for any purchase of hairpieces in excess of € 120 you will receive an equivalent appropriate gift.
4. You will periodically receive the Newmee News by e-mail which will inform you of all our special offers and keep you up to date with what's new at Newmee.com.

How do I become a member ?

It's very easy ! You don't even need to order to do so. Just click on "Become a member" and follow the instructions for new members. It will only take you a couple of minutes and it's well worth the effort. All information given by you will remain strictly confidential.

Question n° 7

Can I return my Newmee ?
|
Under French consumer law you have the right to change your mind and withdraw from your engagement to purchase the product by returning it to us at your own expense. This right of retraction can be exercised within a 7 day period from receipt of the Newmee and only applies to unopened packages in their original condition. Please contact us for more information on the subject.

Can I exchange my Newmee ?
|
For obvious reasons of hygiene no article will be exchanged or refunded if it has been removed from its packaging. However, any article that is defective or does not conform to its description or specifications may be eligible for an exchange or reimbursement. In order to qualify you must contact us within 48 hours of receiving the product either by telephone or by e-mail and explain the nature of the problem. We advise you to contact us with any queries you might have about a product before placing your order for it, because for obvious reasons of hygiene any wig or accessory that has been worn cannot be returned and re-sold. For that reason any exchange or reimbursement will only apply to items that have been checked upon their return to us and whose defects have been established. All returns are made at the customer's expense. The exchange or reimbursement will be made as quickly as possible, and in any event no later than 30 days from the time the Newmee is returned.

How do I return my Newmee ?
|
The article should be returned in its original packaging (unopened in the case of retraction), with its label attached and its invoice enclosed. You are advised to contact us before returning any item in order to clarify the reason for it, be informed of the procedure to follow and to avoid any misunderstanding that may occur. The cost incurred in returning goods is at the customer's expense.

Is paying by credit card safe ?
|
Yes, payment by credit card is perfectly safe. To ensure the security of all transactions we have chosen to work with the Banque Populaire. When you place your order and validate the payment the transaction takes place on the secure site of the Banque Populaire / Cyberplus 3D Secure and none of the details of your credit card are transmitted to Newmee.

Do you accept payment by cheque ?
|
Yes, we accept payment by cheque made out in Euros and drawn on French banks only. You simply need to print out the order form and mail it along with your cheque to Newmee at the address given. The order will be processed as soon as the cheque has been cleared.

Question n° 12
|
What is a ¾ wig ?
|
In fact it’s a type of wig without a well defined starting point (fringe etc..) and which is intended to be incorporated into your own hair like a hairpiece. However, like for a real wig, it allows you to hide all of your hair.

|
How do I put on a ¾ wig ?
|
A ¾ wig can be worn in 2 different ways.
You can see the explanation with photos on the page " Demonstration":
1) Place the front comb about 5 or 6 cm behind your hairline and fix the second comb lower down towards the nape of the neck taking care to hide your hair inside the cap. Use a hair band, scarf or grip etc… to hide the front of the wig. If the colour of your hair matches the colour of the hairpiece you can leave your natural hairline visible.
2) If the colour of your hair matches the colour of the hairpiece you can wear it without using a hair band or scarf etc… You simply need to make a parting from ear to ear over the top of the head and insert the first comb at this point. Place the second one down at the nape of the neck remembering to tuck that part of your hair into the cap. Finally sweep the front part of your hair back over the hairpiece and style it any way you want to.
You can also use small accessories like slides or pins to finish off the look. Bear in mind that the combs hold very effectively. Avoid pulling too hard on your hair.

How do I use the extensions kit ?
|
The kit comprises 8 pieces. Take them out of the packet and lay them down flat on a table in order of width. You can see the explanation with photos on the page " Demonstration".
Start by making a parting low down towards the nape of the neck, use large hair grips to hold the rest of your hair out of the way, and place 2 or 3 of the narrowest pieces in the parting. To do so, "click" open the clips and close them again whilst taking care to trap a little of your hair inside them.
Now let your hair down, make another parting a little higher than the first one and attach the rest of your hair again. Take the 15cm wide piece and open the mini-clips. Place this piece in the parting as before and starting with the centre clip make sure to position it in the middle of the parting. ( N.B. For the Synthetique Extensions Kit, at this stage use the two 15cm wide pieces, place them in the same parting, at the same height but more on the sides of the head than the back ).
Let your hair back down and repeat the process using each time a wider piece of the kit. Make sure that you keep some of your own hair to cover the final piece. And finally, put a narrow piece on each side of the head to finish of the hairstyle and to frame the face.
